Venezuela is a municipality and city in the Ciego de Ávila Province of Cuba. It is located immediately south of the provincial capital, Ciego de Ávila.

In 2004, the municipality of Venezuela had a population of 27,333.[2] With a total area of 716 km2 (276 sq mi),[1] it has a population density of 38.2 /km2 (99 /sq mi).
